Dr. Mark Allen

Dr. Mark J. Allen is a lifetime resident.  He received his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and American History from Williams College and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Oklahoma, College of Dentistry.

Dr. Allen stays current with developing technology and new trends in cosmetic and implant dentistry by attending numerous advanced training courses. His recent advanced training includes:

• Certified InvisalignTM Provider, including completion of advanced courses.
• Certified Lumineers® Provider.
• Certified in conscious oral sedation ? a safe and relaxed state of sedation where patients have little or no recollection of the treatment.
• Implantology (Surgery & Restoration).

Dr. Allen is also one of a few select dentists who are currently enrolled in a two-year mentorship program with the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, where new technology is introduced and advanced cosmetic concepts are developed.

When Dr. Allen isn’t investing his time in advanced, continuing education, he is investing in the community.  The community is important to Dr. Allen.  He contributes to it by participating in services provided through his church organizations and dental service organizations such as, but not limited to:

• D-Dent.
• The National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped, which provides dental services at no cost to elderly, handicapped, and disadvantaged patients.

Dr. Allen has also been honored as Volunteer of the Year by Rest Day Shelter for providing dental services to the homeless.

Dr. Allen loves spending time with his wife of 32 years, his four grown children, two boys and two girls, and, most recently, his granddaughter. His hobbies include flying, scuba diving, fishing, and horseback riding.

Dr. Michael Hansen, a graduate of the Ohio State University, is committed to excellence and providing you with outstanding patient care. Dr. Hansen, born in Scottsdale, Arizona, spent much of his childhood in various mining towns in the mountains of Colorado, California, and Utah. He enjoys the outdoors and is active in his church and community. He spent two years in Paraguay as a missionary and loves South American culture.

Dr. Hansen’s wife, Heather, was raised in Edmond, where she graduated from Deer Creek High School. Dr. Hansen and Heather met while attending Utah State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology. They have three beautiful children, Jacob, Lily, and Leif.
